Friends from My OA

This is the day before the OA. From left to right: Me, Melissa, Ann Marie, Emily, Jarrod, Alex, Tyler, Mark, and Joy. Jarrod, Tyler, and I all took the test together and passed. We spent many hours studying over Skype and became good friends in the process. Alex passed the following day; Emily and Mark unfortunately did not pass.

Just to speak a bit to the caliber of people I tested with, Ann Marie and Tyler are married. He has a masters’ in public policy and she is a microbiologist. They both speak fluent Turkish. Emily is an investment banker with Goldman Sac's in Paris. Jarrod, or Dr. Jarrod, is a professor of terrorism and U.S. Policy in Japan. He speaks fluent Japanese. I don't know what Alex does for a living, but Mark is a professor at a university in Virginia. He speaks Mandarin and Spanish and lived in China and Costa Rica. I felt out of place.
