I am now three weeks out from my Oral Assessment. I have been studying over Skype with a really great group of people 2 – 3 hours at a time a few days a week. I have learned a few things while preparing:
- The people who I am preparing with are truly an amazing bunch. I feel very humbled to be considered with these people. I truly would love the opportunity to work with each and every one of them.
- This assessment is going to be a lot harder than I originally thought.
- I really just can’t wait to be done with this process!
I have booked the airline tickets, booked the hotel, and even scheduled beers with my test mates the day before and a celebratory/consolatory dinner afterward. I have filled out the security clearance forms required and although I have 7 suits, bought another one for the test. I think it is just nervous energy. I am really happy I went down this road, and either way I will be incredibly happy to be done. Now, I just want to take the test. According to my countdown, 505 hours 37 minutes and 17 seconds… but who’s counting!
