Hello and welcome to my blog!
About six months ago I quietly started down a new path in life, entering the Foreign Service. I have had overwhelming support from the approximately 10 people with whom I have shared this information, and I thank each and every one of you for that support. The last six months were really a ride, but I'll save that for another post. For my welcome, I will leave it at a simple thank you and leave you with assurance that your thoughts, prayers, support, and encouragement were both much needed and appreciated.
Now, I’ll get back to this blog. I decided to create this blog for both selfish and practical reasons. The selfish side of me is looking for a way to only tell a story once! Everyone has been very interested in the process and progress over the last several months so I am creating this as an easy way to disseminate a vast amount of information. I am hoping that by focusing my effort on one response I can more adequately address each step eliminating some questions. I am also creating this blog for practical reasons. Our life could be changing quite a bit in the next few months, and blogging will help us stay connected with our loved ones.
